Craniosacral therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a complementary therapy
originated from osteopathy. Physical and emotional complaints are treated in a body-oriented manner.
The cranio-sacral system and connective tissue system (fascia) are the points of action of the cranio-sacral therapist. An important part is creating more body awareness and body awareness. Your complaints are not treated one-sidedly, but body and mind are approached as a whole.
Negative physical and emotional experiences can lodge in your body in the form of tension. You are often not aware of this, but it gradually costs you
more energy and your body cannot function optimally.
These tensions and disturbances can be noticed and treated using gentle techniques. Sometimes this is accompanied by the release of emotions that may be related to an unprocessed experience or trauma.
What is craniosacral therapy?
